I've seen this done on a couple of sites before, and so... we're getting one here. We'll see how it works out. Basically, this is the place to put threads between characters that happened before they appeared on Lukoi. For example... if two characters were childhood friends, you can roleplay scenes of their history here. Past relationships... meetings that are mentioned in the application but took place years ago... put that sort of thing here. This board is specifically for past interactions between two or more different accounts - please don't start a thread that's just you describing what's going on. We have a Journals board for that. Enjoy.

All the various coastal areas of San Diego. The pack has a private beach near La Jolla, but this board can work for other beaches as well.
The heart of Ocean Beach on the west side of Point Loma is Newport Avenue. There are numerous antique shops, the Black, the Black Bead, Starcrafts, Sunshine Daydreams, Infectious Trends, and multiple surf shops. There are Two Dojos within walking distance, and multiple ethnic restaurants.

Balboa Park holds a plethora of museums, grassy picnic areas, playgrounds, hiking paths, the Organ Pavilion, the International Houses... You name it, its here.
There are also many parks besides Balboa in San Diego: Torrey Pines, Mission Trails, Chollas Lake, Lake Murray, the Riverwalk...

There are several colleges in the greater San Diego area. The San Diego Community College District encompasses City College (in downtown), Mesa College, and Grossmont College. San Diego State University is just off the freeway, and lots of local teachers have SDSU degrees (though it is known as a rowdy party school - "SUDS" ). Finally, the University of California, San Diego, is nestled in La Jolla, and well known for its medical and biology programs.
Of course, those too young for college shouldn't feel left out! San Diego Unified School District encompasses much of the county.

The pack's La Jolla manor, passed off as a highly exclusive Bed and Breakfast for wealthy eccentrics. Besides the beach entrance, the only way onto the grounds short of scaling a wall is to pass through the gate. If the gate guard lets you through, you can continue up the drive to the spacious mansion at the heart of the pack grounds.

The pack has several acres of forested land surrounding their mansion, including a small lake. Their land is almost completely walled in, with signs posted anywhere someone might think to traipse in to think otherwise: "Beware of Guard Dogs".

The newest thing to hit San Diego - karaoke! The Cat's Meow features chic leather chairs and booths, with the tables lit by candlelight. Tropical fish swim in large tanks around the room's black and red decor (with silver highlights), and there is a fully serviced bar. There is an office in the back for administrative purposes.

The Vampires' Lair lays deep underground in forgotten catacombs beneath the Theatre Noir. There is an innocent looking plain utilitarian door with a sign marked Employees Only hanging on it. This door leads to the wide stone steps that lead down into the catacombs. There is a surprising amount of larger and smaller rooms branching off of one large chamber at the base of the stairs. All the ceilings and walls are a stone brickwork. The Main antechamber is hung with wine colored silk softening and warming the cold grey of the stone bricks. The floor is carpeted with a thick plush luxurious deep pile carpet of a dark charcoal grey. There are openings branching off this room like the spokes of a wheel. Some are hidden by draped cloth and others are not. There is a black leather couch with four matching chairs arranged in a conversational setting in the middle of the floor. There is room enough for each vampire to have a room of their own however every coffin is identical on the outside. Modern conveniences have been added such as hot and cold running water and bathrooms, electricity, and central air and heat. There is also a feeding pen of miscellaneous animals for their occasional furry companions and a modern kitchen.

Le Théâtre Noir is a restored historic relic from the days of grand movie theatres and play centers of the roaring twenties. The lovely old theatre has been restored and updated to accommodate more modern performance and theatre arts pursuits. It now boasts a state of the art sound and lighting system. The décor is a rich and luxurious mixture of velvet, dark woods, and gold leaf over hand carved lintels. Le Théâtre now houses one of the first permanent Vampire Performing Arts Groups. The motley band of musicians, dancers, singers, and actors call themselves Masqued Mystique. The Theatre is now home to all kinds of performances: ballet, opera, musicals, and the occasional play.

For those who are lucky (or unlucky) enough to be allowed to venture in further, there are two more spacious bars as well as private rooms - perfect for private parties of the rich and powerful or perfect for activities of a much darker nature.

Ashanti Pride

A large clearing just behind Zeke’s house. To get to it one has to cross the extensive garden, pass through a gate and a forest, to finally find one’s self in the clearing. The clearing is surrounded by a few hectares of forest filled with many deer and free roaming cattle for the lions.

Upon entering the clearing one will notice the rocks on the right. Although the few large flat stones are obviously not indigenous to this area, they seem to have been here many years as they are worn down and covered in moss.

This is the Rex and Regina’s seat. All other lions are not to climb onto the rocks without prior permission.

The Warrens is the ironic name for the large and imposing estate that is home to most of San Diego's Rodere. The main house covers most of the estate, but since it borders on Mission Trails Regional Park, there's still plenty of room to roam over and under. There is an empty stable on the property, and a creek hidden by a curtain of willow trees. There is fish and game to be had all around, and a network of rat tunnels stretching under the property and well into the park.

Anyone looking to conduct business with the wererats can find them here most days, managing the restaurant and chatting with the patrons. The restaurant is also the public address and phone number for the Rodere, since the Warrens are only for close friends, allies, and the rats themselves.

A newly opened 18+ strip club. This isn't your average joint - a collars-and-slacks dress code and tight security ensure that only well-mannered (and dressed) clients get in to see the performers. There are two main stages - one for female performers, one for males - in addition to several private rooms in the back. There is a website which lists the stars of the night, in addition to managing the mailing list and the fan clubs for individual performers. There are also occasional fetish nights and/or BDSM nights.

Jason recently bought this fancy split-level house with a breath taking view of the ocean. It has a large master bedroom that has a balcony as well as a master bath. It has three other bedrooms, which Jason hasn’t really used at all and figures he can use them as guest rooms if he needs it. It has two other bathrooms; one bathroom has to be shared between two bedrooms. It has a pretty spacious kitchen and dining room that connect and a good-sized living room. Has a small laundry room though and the garage was an add on that he had to buy.

A secluded area in the woods near the cackle lands, filled with plenty of deer, imported gazelles, and other animals for the cackle to hunt. All new initiations take place here. A large rock den captures the attention of any who enter the clearing - this serves as the Oba's stage during ceremonies. Smaller dens for post-hunt resting are also set into the rocks.
